- Designs and implements procurement solutions using Ariba.
- Translates business needs into system configurations.
- Ensures compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the specific needs and objectives of the business customer.
- Act as a functional expert in procurement-related business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and develop business requirements.
- Define how Ariba applications will support business needs.
- Conduct impact analysis for new or changing business requirements.
- Analyze, determine, and document detailed system requirements.
- Validate that system configurations meet business expectations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- Estimate work effort and coordinate design/development activities.
- Proactively resolve issues through effective work planning.
- Mentor team members on business processes and functional areas.
- Provide accurate status updates on deliverables, risks, and issues.
- Promote a strong client service attitude within and across teams.
- Manage expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support test planning, execution, and review phases.
- Assist with the creation and review of technical cutover deliverables for production.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with:
- Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I)
- Guided Buying
- SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP)
- Ariba Sourcing
- Preferred: Experience in the Life Sciences sector.
- Bonus: Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications.
- Additional beneficial knowledge: SAP ERP and OpenText VIM systems.
