Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in SAP ABAP to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in SAP environments, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP programming and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using SAP ABAP.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain documentation for software designs, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to SAP and software development.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on SAP ABAP best practices.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming.
- Strong expertise in ECC/RAP/S4 Hana.
- Proven experience in software development within SAP environments.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI is a plus.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP HANA and Fiori development.
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on SAP ABAP.
- Relevant certifications in SAP ABAP or related technologies are a plus.
