About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Full Stack Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end development initiatives, deliver high-quality SAP solutions, and collaborate effectively in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and development for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP product features.
- Architect and implement RAP/ABAP REST APIs, CDS Views, Enhancements, and Cloud Extensions.
- Resolve complex technical issues and support team members during issue resolution.
- Develop enterprise-grade Fiori/UI5 full-stack applications (OData, CDS, UI5).
- Implement clean-core and extensibility models using BTP, Side-by-Side Extensions, and Event Mesh.
- Ensure high code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD adoption.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Functional SMEs, UX, and QA teams to deliver sprint-based features.
- Optimize performance of CDS Views, RFCs, OData Services, RAP actions, and data models.
- Mentor junior developers; define coding standards and enforce secure coding & engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis with focus on long-term optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
- 812 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development (ECC and S/4HANA preferred).
- Strong expertise in ABAP, ABAP OO, Fiori, OData, CDS, BOPF, FPM, FBI.
- Experience building custom OData/RAP services and working with integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Events, RFC).
- Mandatory experience with SAP BTP Extension Suite (RAP essential; CAP optional).
- Proficiency in Fiori/UI5 full-stack development (Views, Controllers, Reuse Libraries, Theming).
- Hands-on experience with Git, ATC, ABAP Test Cockpit, and CI/CD pipelines in SAP/BTP environments.
- Strong understanding of clean-core principles and cloud extensibility.
- Domain knowledge in Supply Chain (PP/PLM/QM, MM, PM).
- Strong ability to convert unclear or evolving requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Experience working on global rollouts or multi-country implementations.
Desirable / Nice to Have
- Experience with CAP (Node/Java), BTP Workflow, Business Rules, and Event Mesh.
- Exposure to SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
- Experience building scalable multi-tenant SaaS solutions on BTP.
- SAP ABAP or S/4HANA ABAP certification.
- Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and multitasking abilities.
