Position Description
SAP Activate Project Manager MMP (Material Management Platform) Transformation Program
You will work remotely with US-based stakeholders to support SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and upgrade projects following SAP Activate methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or upgrade projects using SAP Activate methodology
- Support full lifecycle delivery from onboarding through Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run, and Hypercare phases
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and IT teams to achieve milestones
- Support project governance, compliance, and change control processes
- Apply SAP Activate to maintain a structured and agile delivery approach
- Assist with sprint planning, backlog management, and continuous improvement
- Maintain project documentation including roadmaps, RAID logs, status reports, and go-live readiness artifacts
Cutover, Go-Live & Hypercare
- Support cutover planning and execution including cutover strategy, rehearsal coordination, and go-live readiness
- Track cutover tasks, dependencies, and timelines to ensure smooth deployment
- Coordinate Hypercare activities and post-go-live stabilization with functional and technical teams
Migration & Transformation Support
- Support cloud migration initiatives including lift-and-shift and cloud-native deployments
- Assist with onboarding new clients and delivery teams
- Participate in greenfield and brownfield SAP S/4HANA programs
- Coordinate data migration, UAT cycles, and business readiness activities
Skills Required
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology and agile project management
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments
- Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud solutions
- Strong communication skills with focus on risk management and mitigation
Skills Preferred
- Experience with PM tools such as Jira and SharePoint
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of agile delivery practices
- Ability to support roadmap execution
- Respectful, collaborative team approach
Experience Required
- 58+ years of SAP project management experience preferred
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA projects
- Experience supporting cloud migration, lift-and-shift, greenfield, and brownfield SAP programs
- Hands-on experience supporting cutover and go-live activities is a strong plus
- Experience supporting complex SAP deployments including multi-country programs
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in global environments
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Relevant SAP certifications strongly preferred
