Sap Abap Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Customize SAP modules through ABAP development to improve processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP environments.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and end users to deliver solutions on time.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Create technical documentation for developed programs and solutions.
• Follow best practices for coding, quality, and security standards.
• Provide support during testing and deployment phases.
• Mentor junior developers as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4-9 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming, including reports, ALV, BADI, BAPI, user exits, and forms (SmartForms/Adobe Forms).
• Experience with SAP modules like FI, MM, SD, or HR is a plus.
• Understanding of SAP data dictionary and database concepts.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging tools.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with functional teams and users.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
