Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEFW objects) specifically within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Collaborate closely with functional teams to deeply understand business requirements and effectively translate them into precise technical specifications and solutions.
• Perform thorough code reviews and ensure strict adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Work hand-in-hand with SAP Basis and functional teams to troubleshoot and swiftly resolve issues related to custom developments and integrations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed specifications, design documents, and meticulous test plans.
• Stay current with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends, particularly in the rapidly evolving area of S/4HANA development and migration.
• Provide valuable technical guidance and support to junior developers and functional consultants, fostering their growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives within defined timelines and budgets.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with significant hands-on experience in the S/4HANA environment.
• Strong expertise in developing RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) in ABAP.
• Experience with modern ABAP constructs and techniques relevant to S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) is highly beneficial.
• Solid understanding of SAP functional modules and their integration points.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Experience with code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
