Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP S/4HANA Data Migration Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in LTMC, LTMOM, and classical ABAP development. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, data migration frameworks, and ABAP technical objects including BDC, BAPI, enhancements, Smart Forms, ALV, and Module Pool programming. The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to work in complex migration landscapes, and close collaboration with functional and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute SAP S/4HANA data migration activities using LTMC and LTMOM tools
- Develop and support data migration objects, templates, and mappings
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA
- Design and build custom ABAP programs using BDC, BAPI, and LSMW alternatives where required
- Develop and enhance SAP reports using ALV (Classical and OO ALV)
- Create and maintain Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for business requirements
- Work on Module Pool programming for custom transactions and enhancements
- Implement user exits, BADIs, enhancements, and implicit/explicit enhancement spots
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration testing
- Optimize performance of ABAP programs and migration loads
- Support cutover and go-live activities for S/4HANA projects
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP on S/4HANA
- Hands-on expertise in LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit)
- Strong working knowledge of LTMOM (Migration Object Modeler)
- Expertise in BDC (Batch Data Communication) and BAPI integration
- Experience in Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework)
- Proficiency in Smart Forms and SAP Scripts
- Strong knowledge of ALV Reports (Classical & OO ALV)
- Experience in Module Pool Programming
- Understanding of SAP Data Migration methodologies and best practices
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in ABAP
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects is mandatory
Preferred Skills
- Experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
- Knowledge of IDocs and middleware integration concepts
- Exposure to performance tuning and optimization in ABAP
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent
