We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in Core Data Services (CDS) and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern ABAP development within the S/4HANA environment and be capable of delivering efficient, scalable, and optimized solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance applications using ABAP, CDS Views, and AMDP.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize code for performance within the HANA database environment.
- Create and maintain ABAP reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEF).
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and debugging.
- Document technical designs and user guides where necessary.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, specifically with:
- Core Data Services (CDS)
- AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
- Good understanding of S/4HANA ABAP programming model.
- Experience with object-oriented ABAP (OOPs ABAP).
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization in SAP HANA.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 integration (nice to have).
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 46 years of relevant SAP ABAP development experience.
