SAP ABAP Lead

Your Purpose

As our SAP ABAP Technical Lead, you are not just a developer; you are the architect of our digital backbone. You will spearhead our custom engineering efforts, driving a Clean Core strategy while building robust, scalable solutions on S/4 HANA. You will bridge the gap between complex business challenges and innovative technical execution, taking absolute end-to-end ownership of our SAP development landscape.

What You Will Do

• Drive Engineering Excellence:Architect, develop, and maintain advanced ABAP programs, OData services, and Fiori applications that optimize operational efficiency.
• Seamless Integration: Champion the integration of SAP with enterprise third-party cloud applications using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) / BTP.
• Business Partnering: Act as a strategic advisor to functional leads and business stakeholders, translating functional pain points into agile, technical solutions.
• Performance Architecture: Proactively identify system bottlenecks, conducting deep-dive performance tuning and optimization of legacy and new ABAP codes.
• Lead by Example:Establish and enforce strict coding standards, modern development methodologies, and CI/CD best practices to ensure high-quality, defect-free delivery.
• Innovate: Stay continuously updated on the latest SAP roadmaps (BTP, AI/ML integrations) and proactively pitch technological improvements to the leadership.

What You Bring

Experience:10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, with a proven track record in global support and rollout projects. Minimum of one full end-to-end development cycle completed.

• Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, ALV, Smart/Adobe Forms, and ALE/IDoc
• .Modern SAP Skills: Strong exposure to S/4 HANA architecture, SAP Fiori, and mandatory experience handling integrations via SAP CPI
• .The Go-Getter Mindset: You don't wait for detailed specs; you seek out problems, take extreme ownership of the solution, and drive projects to closure autonomously

Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or a related technical disciplin
