Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled
SAP ABAP HANA Techno-Functional Consultant with strong development expertise and functional exposure to
SAP GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
S/4HANA environments, with the ability to bridge technical development and compliance-driven business processes. This role involves working closely with security and audit teams to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP solutions on HANA/S/4HANA platform
- Work extensively on RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Develop advanced solutions using:
- CDS Views
- AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
- OData Services / APIs
- Collaborate with functional and security teams to implement SAP GRC requirements
- Support integration between:
- SAP GRC and core modules (FI, MM, SD, User Access Management)
- Implement enhancements related to:
- Access Control
- Risk Analysis & Remediation
- Compliance reporting
- Perform performance tuning and optimization using HANA techniques
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across ABAP and GRC landscapes
- Participate in S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and system upgrades
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
Technical Skills
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP on HANA
- Hands-on expertise in:
- CDS Views, AMDP
- Enhancement Framework (BADI, User Exits)
- SmartForms / Adobe Forms
- Experience with S/4HANA environments
- Exposure to OData services and integrations
Functional Expertise (Mandatory)
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in SAP GRC
- Strong understanding of:
- Access Control (AC)
- Risk Analysis (ARA)
- Emergency Access Management (EAM)
- User Access Review (UAR)
- Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements in SAP environments
Experience Requirements
- 6–9 years of SAP ABAP experience
- At least 1 S/4HANA implementation / migration / upgrade project
- Experience in techno-functional roles involving business and security teams
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication with business, audit, and technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in ABAP / S/4HANA / GRC
- Experience in compliance-driven or audit-heavy environments (BFSI, Pharma, etc.)
- Exposure to GRC integration with IAM / security tools (preferred)
