SAP ABAP HANA + Rest API

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions, with a focus on creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Develop and optimize code for SAP HANA using tools like ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and Core Data Services (CDS).
• Utilize ABAP constructs like OData services, CDS views, and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) to build robust APIs.
• Integrate SAP applications with external systems and services using REST APIs.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO) and their integration points.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and SAP Fiori for UI integration.
• Knowledge of data modeling, native SQL, and database procedures within the SAP HANA environment.
• Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all ABAP and API developments.
• Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and troubleshoot issues related to ABAP and REST services.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and contribute to code reviews.
• Optimization and Improvement: Continuously optimize existing ABAP code and RESTful services for performance and efficiency.
• Utilize SAP/ABAP analysis tools like Code Inspector and Runtime Analysis for optimization.
