Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HANA RAP Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming and SAP HANA, with a focus on developing RAP applications. This role involves collaborating with functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement ABAP programs and HANA models based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and maintainability in SAP HANA environment.
- Develop and deploy RAP (Rapid Application Programming) applications in SAP S/4HANA.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in ABAP programs and HANA database models.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Maintain documentation for developed applications and processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-9 years of experience in ABAP programming with a strong understanding of SAP HANA.
- Proficient in developing RAP applications and integrating them with SAP Fiori/UI5.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design in SAP HANA.
- Experience with performance tuning of ABAP programs and HANA views.
- Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori application development is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
