Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Development Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ABAP programming and will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing ABAP solutions to meet our business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and reports based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze requirements and propose efficient ABAP solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ABAP programs and processes.
- Provide support during system testing and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP development.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-20 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and its frameworks.
- Experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and HR is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP enhancements, BAPIs, and BADIs.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
