Job Description

Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with at least 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP solutions using ABAP programming language. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and enhance system functionality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP programming language.
  • Experience in ABAP objects, OO programming, conversions, enhancements, BADI, user exits, RFCs, ALE/EDI IDOC, BTEs, CDS views, VOFM routines, performance tuning catalogues, and code groups
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements, modifications, and customizations to existing SAP applications.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in SAP systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues and addressing system-related queries.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities, ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, technical architects, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Document technical specifications, development activities, and configurations to maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
