Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on expertise in
SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality ABAP applications, ensuring seamless integration across SAP modules and external systems.
This role demands strong technical proficiency in
ABAP development, CDS Views, OData Services, and RICEFW objects, along with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust SAP ABAP applications to support business processes.
- Develop and modify SAP modules and ensure seamless integration across related modules such as MM (Materials Management) and FI (Financial Accounting).
- Perform complex ABAP programming, debugging, and performance optimization within S/4HANA.
- Implement RICEFW objects Reports, Interfaces (SFTP, RFC/BAPI), Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (Adobe Forms).
- Develop Core Data Services (CDS) Views, Table Functions, and OData services for modern SAP application extensions.
- Ensure integration and interfacing through IDOCs, BTP, and other external systems.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements, design technical specifications, and deliver compliant solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing SAP systems and applications.
- Document and maintain all customizations, developments, and code changes as per SAP and organizational standards.
- Participate in full lifecycle project implementations including analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities and assist colleagues as a collaborative team player.
Required Skills And Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA development and migration projects.
- Strong technical expertise in CDS Views, Table Functions, and OData service design.
- Proven experience with RICEFW objects and interface development (SFTP, RFC/BAPI, Adobe Forms).
- Good understanding of IDOCs, SAP BTP, and integration concepts.
- Solid knowledge of SAP module integration (MM, FI).
- Experience in performance tuning, code optimization, and debugging complex programs.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
