Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a SAP ABAP Developer located in India. The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing SAP modules using ABAP programming. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing technical specifications, debugging and improving existing programs, creating technical documentation, and ensuring integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. The developer will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to deliver optimized solutions that meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ABAP Workbench
• Experience with Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and ALV Reporting
• Expertise in developing BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits
• Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and OData services (preferred)
• Ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams to analyze requirements and design solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in the IT or consulting industry (preferred)
