Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with over 10 years of strong technical expertise in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of ABAP programming, performance optimization, and integration across SAP modules, along with experience in S/4HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Work on RICEF objects including complex developments
- Develop and enhance Reports (ALV, Interactive Reports)
- Create and maintain Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData Services)
- Develop Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework)
- Work on Forms (SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms)
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs
- Collaborate with functional consultants (FI, MM, SD, etc.) for requirement gathering
- Work on S/4HANA migration and development (CDS Views, AMDP, Code Pushdown)
- Handle debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
- Ensure documentation of technical specifications and processes
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
Core ABAP Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP, ABAP OO
- Expertise in ALV Reports (OO ALV preferred)
- Experience with Data Dictionary (DDIC)
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
Advanced SAP Skills
- Experience with S/4HANA ABAP Development
- Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA optimization techniques
- Hands-on experience in OData & SAP Gateway services
- Familiarity with Fiori integration is a plus
Integration & Interfaces
- IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Proxy, Web Services
- Experience with third-party system integrations
Forms & Enhancements
- SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms
- User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework
