About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
SAP ABAP Consultant with extensive experience in the design, development, and support of SAP applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in ABAP development across various SAP modules and a deep understanding of modern SAP technologies like S/4HANA and OData services. This is a remote position with occasional travel to client locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions to meet business requirements.
- Work closely with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
- Develop OData services and integrate with SAP Fiori applications.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of technical designs.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Optimize and improve existing ABAP programs for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions on time.
Required Skills And Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in RICEFW objects and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData.
- Experience working in S/4HANA environments is a must.
- Good understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration concepts.
- Knowledge of workflow, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancement frameworks.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting across SAP modules (e.g., FICO, SD, MM).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with integration technologies (IDocs, RFCs, REST APIs).
- SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA development (preferred but not mandatory).
