About The Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 5 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and implementation/support projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications while working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective SAP ABAP solutions.
• Work on RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Develop and maintain ABAP Reports, ALV Reports, BAPIs, RFCs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and BADIs.
• Work on performance optimization and debugging of existing ABAP programs.
• Develop and support SAP interfaces with internal and external systems.
• Participate in technical design, development, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical resolutions.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications and relevant development documentation.
• Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and change requests as required.
  
  

Required Skills

• 5 10 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
• Good experience in RICEF development.
• Hands-on experience with ALV, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, RFC, and Enhancements.
• Good knowledge of ABAP debugging and performance tuning.
• Experience in developing and supporting SAP interfaces.
• Good understanding of SAP data dictionary, internal tables, modularization techniques, and Open SQL.
• Experience working with SAP functional teams and understanding functional requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and modern ABAP programming.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.
• Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects.
• Experience working in client-facing environments.
