SAP ABAP Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in S/4 HANA development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of SAP design and development across modules like SD, PS, and Finance (preferred). You will play a key role in building scalable and reusable ABAP solutions using modern tools and methodologies, contributing to performance tuning, custom developments, and integration efforts across the SAP landscape.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP applications, enhancements, and interfaces.
• Work on complex SAP projects involving CDS Views, AMDPs, and S/4 HANA-specific programming.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle including requirement gathering, technical design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Create and maintain RFCs, ALVs, BDCs, BAPIs, LSMWs, dialog programming, and ADOBE forms.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, reusable components, frameworks, and code quality.
• Optimize ABAP code through performance tuning and stress testing.
• Collaborate closely with functional teams (SD, PS, Finance) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions using object-oriented ABAP and clean core principles.
• Provide technical documentation and support for custom developments and upgrades.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, MCA, or equivalent.
• 5 to 9 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Proficiency in S/4 HANA ABAP, especially in SD, PS, or Finance modules.
• Strong experience in CDS Views, AMDPs, and SAP Data Dictionary.
• Expertise in ALV reporting, BDC, BAPI, LSMW, and Adobe Forms.
• Deep understanding of SAP enhancement frameworks, modularization techniques, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Web IDE, and SAP Gateway OData service development.
• Exposure to web technologies like BSP, Java, or ABAP Web Dynpro.
• Familiarity with Eclipse-based IDE for ABAP development.
• Understanding of clean core development and side-by-side extensions is a plus.
