Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP ABAP development with hands-on experience in the PP/QM and MM/SD modules. Knowledge of S/4 HANA migration is essential, as you will play a key role in supporting and developing customized solutions within these modules during our transition to S/4 HANA. This position requires strong technical skills combined with a deep understanding of SAP business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and implement ABAP-based custom solutions for SAP PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform ABAP development for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
- Participate in the migration process from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA, ensuring all custom developments are compatible with the new environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues related to ABAP development, module integration, and performance optimization.
- Optimize ABAP programs for performance improvements, particularly in the context of S/4 HANA.
- Assist in the preparation of functional and technical documentation.
- Participate in system testing, including unit, integration, and regression tests.
- Support the deployment of SAP solutions and work closely with business users for post-implementation support and enhancements.
- Continuously update and improve knowledge of SAP technologies, modules, and development tools.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience with SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules.
- Solid experience in SAP MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules.
- Proven experience in S/4 HANA migration and adapting custom developments for S/4 HANA systems.
- Expertise in ABAP programming techniques, including reports, interfaces, forms, BADI, user exits, enhancements, and IDocs.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5, S/4 HANA, and other modern SAP technologies is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and integration between different SAP modules.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA core modules and migration strategies.
- Experience in ABAP on HANA, utilizing advanced HANA features (e.g., AMDP, CDS views, etc.).
- Experience in Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with SAP BW, SAP PI/PO, or other SAP integration tools is a plus.
