Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA (RISE or GROW) environments. The ideal candidate should have completed multiple end-to-end implementations and support projects, possess strong technical and leadership skills, and be capable of collaborating across functional and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance custom programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEFW) in SAP S/4HANA.
- Lead ABAP development activities throughout full lifecycle implementations and ongoing support projects.
- Collaborate with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, PP) to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to development standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and issue resolution for custom developments.
- Coordinate with BASIS, Fiori, and integration teams for deployment and transport management.
- Manage task allocation, ensure timely delivery, and maintain technical documentation.
Must-Have Skills
- Core ABAP: Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Enhancements, User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, ALV, BDC, RFCs, and OData Services.
- S/4HANA ABAP: CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and New Syntax.
- Implementation & Support Experience: 23 S/4HANA implementations and 45 support projects.
- Cross-Module Coordination: Strong collaboration with SD, MM, FI, PP modules.
- Team Leadership: Experience in assigning tasks, reviewing deliverables, and mentoring junior developers.
- SAP Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP architecture, modules, integration points, CPI and BTP environments.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Fiori/UI5 development and SAP BTP.
- Knowledge of SAP Workflows, ALE/IDOC, and integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
- SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA Development (optional).
