Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 7–12 years of relevant experience to join our team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications while working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP.

Work on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF).

Develop and optimize ABAP programs, Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.

Work on ALV reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.

Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and OData.

Analyze technical requirements and prepare technical specifications.

Debug and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs and resolve production issues.

Work closely with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.

Optimize existing programs for better performance and scalability.

Provide production support and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

Prepare technical documentation for developments and enhancements.

Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

Required Skills:

7–12 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP.

Strong knowledge of ABAP programming and SAP development concepts.

Good experience in RICEF objects.

Hands-on experience with Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Conversions.

Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.

Experience with IDocs, RFCs, OData, and Web Services.

Good debugging and performance-tuning skills.

Experience working with SAP functional modules such as SAP MM, SD, FI, or PP.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in SAP S/4HANA.

Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and modern ABAP programming.

Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData is an added advantage.

Experience in SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, or support projects.
