Description
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing ABAP programs, collaborating with functional teams, and ensuring that our SAP systems run efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements in SAP systems
- Analyzing functional specifications and converting them into technical specifications
- Collaborating with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Performing unit testing and supporting user acceptance testing
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing ABAP programs
- Optimizing and improving the performance of ABAP programs
- Maintaining technical documentation of developments and enhancements
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in ABAP programming
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules like MM, SD, FI, or CO
- Experience with SAP enhancements and modifications
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language including reports, interfaces, forms, and data dictionary
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Understanding of SAP data structures and database concepts
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
