Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in offshore development for enhancements and end-to-end project delivery, with limited onshore support as required.
- Coordinate with the Offshore Technical Manager, functional consultants, and business stakeholders during requirement analysis, build, and testing phases.
- Design, develop, and unit test RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) following SAP best practices.
- Develop scalable ABAP solutions using SAP BTP, including RAP-based services, CDS views, and OData integrations.
- Collaborate with SAP Fiori/UI5 teams to ensure seamless backend and frontend integration.
- Prepare technical design documents aligned with functional and architectural specifications.
- Perform code reviews, optimization, and ensure adherence to quality and performance standards.
- Support integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, quality, and cost parameters.
Experience Required:
- 7.5 - 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
- Strong experience working on SAP BTP-based developments, including RAP, CDS Views, and OData services.
- Proven experience in delivering RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) for complex business scenarios.
- Hands-on exposure to integration of ABAP backend services with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Experience in requirement analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, and support across multiple project lifecycles.
- Prior experience working in offshore-onshore delivery models and coordinating with global stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to perform code optimization, performance tuning, and adherence to SAP development standards.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-production activities.
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies is preferred.
- Experience in mentoring junior developers and contributing to team capability building is an added advantage.
