RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with designers and production teams to develop accurate garment samples based on design specifications.
- Manage the end-to-end sampling process, including proto samples, fit samples, size sets, and pre-production samples.
- Source and coordinate with vendors for fabrics, trims, and accessories required for sample development.
- Ensure samples are developed within the required timelines while maintaining quality and design accuracy.
- Work closely with factories to communicate construction details, measurements, and technical requirements.
- Review and inspect samples to ensure correct fit, finish, construction, and overall quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of sample approvals, revisions, fabrics, trims, and technical comments.
- Coordinate internally with merchandising, design, and production teams to ensure smooth transition from sampling to bulk production.
- Stay updated with fabric developments, garment construction techniques, and industry trends.
- Willing to travel between office and factory when required to monitor sampling progress and quality checks.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile, Apparel Production, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, trims, garment construction, and sampling techniques.
- Proven experience in handling garment sampling processes in the apparel industry.
- Confident communication and strong coordination skills with vendors and production teams.
- Ability to manage multiple samples and deadlines simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on product quality and finishing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and garment sampling documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced production environment.
