We are looking for a skilled and guest-focused Salon Specialist to join our wellness team and deliver exceptional beauty and grooming services aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
Position Summary
The Salon Specialist will be responsible for providing professional salon treatments and personalized grooming services to resort guests. The role requires technical expertise, hygiene excellence, strong customer service skills, and the ability to create a relaxing, premium salon experience.
Key Responsibilities
. Provide salon services including hair care, styling, hair treatments, manicure, pedicure, facials, waxing, threading, and grooming services.
. Understand guest preferences and recommend suitable beauty and wellness treatments.
. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitization of tools, equipment, and treatment areas.
. Ensure all products and services meet Della's luxury hospitality standards.
. Upsell salon packages, memberships, and retail beauty products to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
. Coordinate with the spa, front office, and guest relations teams for appointment scheduling.
. Stay updated on latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
. Monitor stock levels of salon consumables and report replenishment needs.
. Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure service recovery when required.
. Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and brand grooming standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
. Certification or diploma in Beauty Therapy / Cosmetology / Hair & Skin Treatments.
. Minimum 1-3 years of premium salon or luxury hospitality experience.
. Strong hands-on expertise in beauty and grooming services.
. Excellent guest interaction and communication skills.
. Knowledge of premium salon products and treatment techniques.
. Strong hygiene and sanitization practices.
. Presentable personality with professional grooming standards.
. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
