Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of agricultural implements by developing and managing a strong dealer network. This role involves identifying potential dealers, building long-term relationships, providing product training, and ensuring market penetration in assigned territories.
1. Sales & Market Expansion: Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for agricultural implements.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase market share.
- Explore new territories and conduct market surveys for potential dealer opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities and suggest counterstrategies.
2. Dealer Development: Identify and onboard new dealers in targeted regions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers to ensure loyalty and growth.
- Assist dealers in marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure timely supply of products and operational support for dealers.
3. Product Promotion & Training: Organize product demonstrations and training sessions for dealers and farmers.
- Ensure dealers have adequate knowledge of product features and benefits.
4. Customer Relationship Management: Support dealers in addressing customer queries and complaints.
- Collect feedback from end-users and share insights with the product team.
5. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and dealer development updates.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in agricultural machinery or implements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and equipment is an advantage.
