Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of agricultural implements by developing and managing a strong dealer network. This role involves identifying potential dealers, building long-term relationships, providing product training, and ensuring market penetration in assigned territories.

  • Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Market Expansion: Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for agricultural implements.

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase market share.
  • Explore new territories and conduct market surveys for potential dealer opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest counterstrategies.

2. Dealer Development: Identify and onboard new dealers in targeted regions.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers to ensure loyalty and growth.
  • Assist dealers in marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure timely supply of products and operational support for dealers.

3. Product Promotion & Training: Organize product demonstrations and training sessions for dealers and farmers.

  • Ensure dealers have adequate knowledge of product features and benefits.

4. Customer Relationship Management: Support dealers in addressing customer queries and complaints.

  • Collect feedback from end-users and share insights with the product team.

5. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and dealer development updates.

  • Analyze sales trends and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Business, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in agricultural machinery or implements.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
  • Knowledge of agricultural practices and equipment is an advantage.
  • Performance Metrics: Dealer network growth.
  • Sales volume and revenue targets.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market share improvement.
