About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with strong expertise in Veruna (Insurance Accelerator on Salesforce) to join our team. The ideal candidate needs to have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce testing, including functional, integration, regression, and automation testing, with a solid understanding of insurance business processes and Veruna managed package functionality.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3+ years in Salesforce testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Veruna managed package.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
  • Experience testing: Apex classes and triggers, flows and automation, SOQL queries and Security (Profiles, Permission Sets, Role Hierarchy)
  • Experience with integration testing (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SQL/SOQL for data validation.
  • Experience in Insurance domain (P&C preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins is a plus.
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin or Platform App Builder) are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce and Veruna implementations.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate Veruna-specific modules such as Policy Management, AMS360 integration, Submissions, Renewals, Commissions and accounting workflows.
  • Test Salesforce configurations including Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Components, and Reports/Dashboards.
  • Perform API testing and validate integrations with external systems (DocuSign, AMS, payment gateways, etc.).
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Support data migration validation and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform automation testing using tools such as TOSCA.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and QA standards.
