Salesforce Senior Software Engineer

As a Salesforce Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and flows to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role requires solid hands-on experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver independently while continuing to grow technically within a structured team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business partners, engineers, and key business stakeholders, to create solutions that support business strategies and deliver value.

Develop and implement comprehensive end-to-end solutions within the Sales Cloud to support our sales business partners.

Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

Implement and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.

Follow CI/CD and release management processes to ensure safe, compliant deployments

Leading the development and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintain development standards.

Own delivery of Salesforce user stories from design through production

Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies, recommending adoption where appropriate.

Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce functionality and integration issues, ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient system operation.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in Sales Cloud

Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration frameworks.

Strong proficiency in Salesforce configuration (Flows, Process Builder, Custom Objects, Validation Rules).

Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, relationships, and security (roles, profiles, sharing rules).

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Proven experience in developing scalable enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.

Experience in Agentforce

Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) or generative AI tools into Salesforce workflows.

Fluent in XML-based web services and REST APIs approach with 3+ years of experience.

Proficiency in MS SQL programming, querying, and relational database management systems (RDBMS) with 3+ years of experience.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and use of tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bit Bucket
