Engagement: Contract / Permanent

Role Overview

The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and delivering scalable Quote-to-Cash (QTC) architectures built on Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Subscription Management, and Integrations. This role drives end-to-end solution blueprinting, ensures best-practice CPQ/Billing implementation, aligns business processes with platform capabilities, and provides architectural leadership across multi-cloud Salesforce programs.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

Define the QTC architecture, covering CPQ, Billing, Subscription Management, CLM, and integrations with ERP/Finance systems.

Design enterprise-grade data, integration, and security models aligned with Salesforce Well-Architected Framework.

Lead creation of Blueprints, Solution Designs, Data Models, Interface Catalogues, and High-Level/Low-Level Designs.

Architect pricing, discounting, bundling, order management, invoice generation, amendments, renewals, and subscription lifecycle processes.

Delivery Leadership

Provide hands-on architectural guidance to functional consultants & technical teams (Apex, LWC, MuleSoft, APIs).

Oversee end-to-end CPQ & Billing implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.

Review and approve key deliverables: configuration, code, integration flows, and release plans.

Govern CI/CD, quality assurance, and environment strategy for the QTC program.

Business & Stakeholder Management

Partner with Sales, Finance, Pricing, Legal, RevOps, and Product teams to translate business requirements into platform capabilities.

Lead discovery workshops, evaluate current-state processes, and propose target operating models.

Support pre-sales, solution estimation, sizing, and proposal development.

Integration Architecture

Design end-to-end integrations between Salesforce and downstream systems (SAP/Oracle ERP, Zuora, Workday, etc.).

Define contract lifecycle workflows integrating with CLM tools (Conga/Icertis).

Architect event-driven updates via Platform Events, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware (MuleSoft/Apigee).

Required Skills & Experience

815 years of Salesforce experience, with deep specialisation in Revenue Cloud (CPQ + Billing).

Proven architecture experience in complex, multi-cloud Salesforce programs.

Expert understanding of:

CPQ configuration (bundles, pricing models, discounting, rules engine)

Billing (invoicing, taxation, usage, credit notes, amendments, renewals)

Order Management & Subscription lifecycle

QTC processes across enterprise sales

Strong grasp of Apex, Flows, LWC, Data Models, API patterns, and integration frameworks.

Experience designing solutions in industries such as Telecom, SaaS, Manufacturing, Energy, or Financial Services.

Salesforce certifications preferred:

Salesforce CPQ Specialist

CPQ Advanced Specialist

Billing Specialist

Application Architect / System Architect

Revenue Cloud Consultant

Good-to-Have

Exposure to B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and multi-cloud orchestration.

Knowledge of subscription monetisation models, consumption billing, and product catalog transformations.

Prior consulting experience in Tier-1/Tier-2 IT services or Salesforce platinum partners.

Soft Skills

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and steer complex stakeholder discussions.

Strong analytical, architectural, and documentation skills.
