Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with strong manual testing expertise and exposure to test automation using Selenium. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality Salesforce implementations by validating standard and custom Salesforce functionality, integrations, and business workflows in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing of Salesforce applications (functional, regression, smoke, and UAT).
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Ensure complete test coverage across Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Execute test cases, log defects, perform defect triage, retesting, and closure.
- Validate Salesforce configurations, custom objects, workflows, Flows, reports, and dashboards.
- Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
- Support UAT cycles and provide testing sign-off.
- Perform data validation and integration testing within Salesforce.
- Assist with regression testing during Salesforce releases.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications.
- Strong expertise in manual testing:
- Test case design & execution
- Test coverage analysis
- Defect identification, logging, and triage
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, standard and custom features.
- Experience testing Salesforce integrations and data validations.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good-to-Have / Preferred Skills
- Automation testing experience using Java with Selenium or Playwright.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Salesforce release cycles and regression impact analysis.
