Salesforce QA Engineer

Experience Required: 5-6 years

Duration: 6 Months Contract initially

Location: Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual testing, API validation, and SOQL query-based testing. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce solutions by designing robust test strategies and collaborating closely with developers, admins, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.

Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing across Salesforce modules.

Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.

Write and execute SOQL queries to validate data integrity, workflows, and backend processes.

Identify, track, and report defects; work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, Dev, Admin, Product) to ensure quality standards.

Contribute to QA best practices, process improvements, and test documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on Salesforce platform testing.

Hands-on experience with manual testing, API validation, and SOQL queries.

Proficiency with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, workflows, triggers, and integrations.

Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, or TestNG).

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, or QA-focused certs).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
