About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Salesforce Platform Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will act as the primary technical expert for our Health Cloud and Experience Cloud environments. You will leverage your deep understanding of Salesforce Lightning and advanced Flow automation to build scalable, secure, and intuitive solutions that improve patient outcomes, streamline provider collaboration, and enhance internal operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Health Cloud Implementation & Management
- Configure and manage core Health Cloud features, including Patient 360, Care Plans, Care Teams, and Provider Relationship Management.
- Ensure the platform adheres to strict healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA and HITRUST requirements.
- Assist in integrating Salesforce Health Cloud with core Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems using HL7/FHIR industry standards.
Experience Cloud (Portal) Development
- Design, build, and maintain external-facing portals using Experience Cloud for patients, providers, and partners.
- Configure secure sharing sets, profile permissions, and role hierarchies to ensure external users only access appropriate healthcare data.
- Utilize Experience Builder to create highly branded, user-friendly self-service portals for appointment scheduling, document sharing, and secure messaging.
Lightning UI & User Experience
- Design and customize intuitive user interfaces using the Lightning App Builder to optimize the daily workflows of care coordinators and medical staff.
- Collaborate with developers (if applicable) to deploy custom Lightning Web Components (LWCs) where declarative tools fall short.
- Drive user adoption by creating streamlined, dynamic Lightning Record Pages tailored to specific internal healthcare roles.
Advanced Automation via Flows
- Architect and build complex declarative automations using Salesforce Flows (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Autolaunched Flows).
- Create guided Screen Flows for critical patient interactions, such as intake forms, triage assessments, and consent gathering.
- Lead the migration of legacy automations (Workflow Rules and Process Builder) into optimized, bulkified Flow architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: [e.g., 3-5+] years of dedicated hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or Platform Specialist.
- Platform Mastery: Proven, demonstrable experience configuring and managing Salesforce Health Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Automation Expertise: Deep, technical proficiency in building complex Salesforce Flows.
- UI/UX: Strong understanding of the Salesforce Lightning design system and Lightning App Builder.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of healthcare data models, clinical workflows, and data security/privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce technical solutions.
