This role exists to ensure that Salesforce solutions are built to the highest standards of quality, scalability, security, and maintainability, while enabling rapid and reliable delivery of business capabilities across global regions.

Acting as the technical backbone of the Salesforce platform, the Master Developer translates complex business and architectural requirements into robust, well-engineered solutions. The role sets and enforces development standards, patterns, and best practices across Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and DevOps pipelines, ensuring consistency and technical excellence across all Salesforce implementations.

  • Provide hands-on contribution for critical, complex, or high-risk components.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, test coverage, and security through reviews, automation, and best practices.
  • Promote reuse through shared components, common frameworks, and standardized services.

Integration & Data Engineering

  • Design and govern Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
  • Ensure integrations meet performance, reliability, security, and data integrity requirements.
  • Collaborate with Integration and Data teams on models, error handling, and monitoring standards.

Performance, Security & Technical Risk

  • Identify and remediate technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability risks.
  • Support security and compliance initiatives, including vulnerability remediation, access controls, and audit readiness.
  • Analyze incidents and operational metrics to drive preventative improvements.

DevOps, Release & Environment Governance

  • Define and enforce Salesforce DevOps standards, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gates.
  • Govern environment strategy to support predictable, low-risk delivery.
  • Partner with Platform, QA, and Operations teams to ensure stable and secure releases.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentoring to global Salesforce developers and SI resources.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges and design decisions.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay current with Salesforce capabilities and roadmap, translating them into actionable improvements.
  • Drive initiatives focused on automation, quality, and platform modernization.

Partner Technical Oversight

  • Provide technical oversight to system integrators and external partners.
  • Review and approve partner designs and code for adherence to standards and governance.
