Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished
Salesforce Functional Consultant/Practice Lead to lead and expand our Salesforce capability. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem, capable of managing end-to-end delivery of customer projects whilst driving internal Salesforce initiatives, capability building, and solution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Salesforce practice strategy, capability roadmap, and growth initiatives. Establish best practices, delivery methodologies, and governance standards for all Salesforce engagements.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Salesforce team across functional and technical streams. Ensure alignment with organisational goals and continuous improvement of Salesforce offerings.
- Drive pre-sales activities, solution proposals, estimations, RFP responses, and customer presentations.
- Oversee multiple Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects across different clouds. Provide architectural and design guidance to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Govern end-to-end project execution, covering requirements, configuration, development, testing, training, deployment, and support.
- Manage customer expectations, handle escalations, and ensure on-time and quality delivery. Act as the principal point of contact for key enterprise customers. Build strong client relationships and ensure long-term satisfaction and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7-8 years of IT experience, with significant exposure to Salesforce implementations.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration, custom development, solution design, and technical architecture.
- Proven experience managing full project lifecycle from requirement gathering to post-implementation support.
- Excellent leadership qualities with experience managing large cross-functional teams.
- Strong customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience overseeing development, QA, DevOps, deployment, and release processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified one or more
- Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, and practice building.
- Understanding of multiple industry domains such as BFSI, Retail, Telecom, or Manufacturing.
