Salesforce FSC ( experience with Migration)

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end migration of the existing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud platform from legacy/current version to the new target version/environment

Assess current Salesforce/FSC implementation, identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and recommend migration approach

Analyze and redesign FSC data model, configurations, customizations, and integrations to align with the new version and business requirements

Migrate and remediate existing custom components including Apex, Triggers, Flows, LWC, and Aura components

Perform impact analysis on existing business processes, automation, integrations, and security model during migration

Plan and execute data migration, validation, reconciliation, and post-migration support

Manage deployment strategy across sandboxes and production environments with minimal business disruption

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, admins, and technical teams to ensure smooth transition and adoption

Troubleshoot migration issues, resolve compatibility concerns, and optimize system performance post-upgrade

Prepare technical documentation, migration runbooks, rollback plans, and support knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform

Proven experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) implementations and upgrades/migrations

Strong understanding of FSC data model, financial services domain processes, and legacy-to-target state transformation

Hands-on experience in:

Flows

Apex

Triggers

LWC / Aura

SOQL / SOSL

Strong experience in system migration, org consolidation, version upgrade, or transformation projects within Salesforce

Experience in data migration, data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation

Experience in integrations using REST / SOAP APIs, including migration and reconfiguration of upstream/downstream systems

Strong knowledge of Salesforce security model, including profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing, and access redesign during migration

Experience with Data Loader, deployment tools, sandbox strategy, release management, and environment management

Ability to perform impact analysis, effort estimation, risk assessment, and cutover planning

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills

Good communication and stakeholder-handling skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Salesforce FSC version upgrades / legacy modernization / platform transformation

Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, Git-based deployment processes

Experience with data archival, backup, rollback, and cutover planning

Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer, Application Architect, or Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional preferred
