Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and enhance Servicing Platform integrated with Fleet Management systems.
The role focuses on building a Salesforce Service Cloud & Field Service-based solution that enables end-to-end case management, work order automation, and integration with fleet monitoring systems for distributed solar assets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Application Development
Develop and customize solutions on:
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Field Service (FSL)
- Build capabilities for:
- Case management (alert → case → resolution lifecycle)
- Work order and service appointment management
- Implement custom logic using:
- Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) / Aura
2. Fleet Management Integration
- Integrate Salesforce with Fleet Management Portal (Azure-based) for:
- Alert ingestion and automated case creation
- Asset data synchronization
- Build API-based integrations with OEM systems (SolarEdge, Enphase, Tesla, etc.) via middleware
- Ensure seamless two-way data sync between Fleet Manager and Salesforce [Walkthroug...ng Portals | PowerPoint]
3. Workflow & Automation
- Configure and build:
- Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes
- Automated case and work order creation from incoming alerts
- Enable end-to-end workflow automation for servicing operations
- Design scalable automation to minimize manual intervention
4. Data Model & Asset Management
- Design and manage Salesforce data models for:
- Assets
- Cases
- Work Orders
- Service History
- Support digital twin synchronization with fleet systems
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and governance across platforms
5. Integration & API Development
- Develop and manage:
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Platform Events / Streaming APIs
- Implement integration patterns:
- Event-driven architecture for alerts
- Middleware-based integrations (optional layer)
- Ensure secure authentication (OAuth, API security)
6. DevOps, Testing & Deployment
- Follow Salesforce DevOps best practices:
- CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, Copado, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Version control (Git)
- Perform:
- Unit testing (Apex test classes)
- System & integration testing
- Support production deployment and issue resolution
7. Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with:
- Business stakeholders
- Fleet management engineering teams
- Global delivery teams
- Translate business use cases into Salesforce solutions
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint deliveries

- Hands-on with:

Integration & Platform Skills
- Experience with:
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Integration with external systems
- Understanding of:

- Data synchronization patterns
Data & Architecture
- Strong understanding of:
- Salesforce data model design
- Security model (Profiles, Roles, Sharing Rules)
- Governor limits & performance optimization
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience integrating with:
- IoT / telemetry systems
- Fleet / asset management platforms
- Exposure to:
- Azure integration / middleware
- Digital twin or asset lifecycle tracking
- Salesforce certifications:
- Platform Developer I/II
- Service Cloud Consultant
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science
- 3–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Experience in enterprise-scale implementations
