Overview:
We are looking for a Salesforce Data Cloud Architect (Data 360) with strong expertise across both the legacy Salesforce CDP (Customer Data Platform / Genie) and the current Salesforce Data Cloud ecosystem. The candidate should have deep technical knowledge of Data Cloud architecture, SQL, Einstein Prediction AI, external data integrations, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support enterprise-scale, data-driven use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Data Cloud (Old & New Ecosystem)
Design and implement solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly CDP / Genie)
Work extensively with Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Unified Profiles, Calculated Insights, and Identity Resolution
Manage ingestion of structured and semi-structured data from Salesforce and external platforms
Optimize data models and performance across both legacy CDP concepts and modern Data Cloud capabilities
Einstein AI & Predictive Capabilities
Implement Einstein Prediction Builder / Einstein AI using Data Cloud unified data
Build and deploy predictive models such as propensity scoring, churn prediction, and segmentation intelligence
Enable AI-driven insights and personalization use cases leveraging Data Cloud
SQL & Data Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with SQL for
Calculated Insights
Data transformation and validation
Performance optimization
Solid understanding of analytical and relational data modelling
Integrations
Design and implement integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud and:
External data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, Azure, etc.)
Third-party systems using APIs and connectors
Experience with middleware tools (MuleSoft preferred)
Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data flows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
2 years hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly CDP / Genie / Customer 360 / Data 360)
Strong expertise in Data Cloud architecture, Agentforce, Marketing Cloud, SQL, and Einstein Prediction AI
Experience with external data integrations and Salesforce Marketing Cloud activation
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications in Data Cloud, AI /Data 360, Agentforce, Advanced Admin
Marketing Cloud is a nice addition
Good working knowledge of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, Tableau Next, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Agentforce
Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of MuleSoft or similar integration tools
Understanding of data privacy, consent management, and governance
Experience with real-time personalization and cross-cloud activation
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Strategic thinker with problem-solving and analytical mindset
Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
