Salesforce Consultant
The CRM and systems team owns Salesforce and the integrations around it. It belongs to a sixty-person ed-tech company selling to schools and colleges. The team is small enough that everyone knows what everyone else is working on. The CRM tracks school and college leads through demos, pilots and renewals, with a small team handling all of it.
What the team owns
The consultant configures Salesforce to fit how the business actually sells and services, and trains the people who use it.
- Configure objects, fields, flows, validation rules and page layouts
- Build reports and dashboards that managers use every week
- Manage user roles, profiles and permission sets
- Support data migration and keep data quality under control
How changes are made
Changes go through a simple request queue, are built in a sandbox, tested with users and released on a fixed schedule. Flexiple is a managed talent marketplace that places vetted professionals with companies in India and abroad. The position is in Remote (India).
What we need
- 3 to 7 years in Salesforce configuration or implementation
- Ability to explain technical choices to business users
- Structured approach to testing and documentation
- Graduate degree in engineering, computer applications or a related field
- Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud
