Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Salesforce Communications Cloud Engineers with mandatory telecommunications domain experience and strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce and cloud-based communication platforms. The role focuses on building scalable, enterprise-grade communication solutions that enable seamless customer engagement across multiple channels in a Telco environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and configure solutions using Salesforce Communications Cloud for telecom use cases

Implement cloud-based communication capabilities including messaging, notifications, alerts, and customer interaction workflows

Integrate Salesforce with cloud communication platforms (SMS, email, voice, chat, WhatsApp, IVR, etc.)

Work closely with product, business, and architecture teams to deliver Telco-specific customer engagement solutions

Design and build integrations and APIs between Salesforce and telco systems (BSS/OSS, billing, provisioning, CRM)

Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of communication solutions

Support testing, deployment, and production support activities

Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce and communication platform issues

Required Skills & Experience

68 years of overall experience in Salesforce development/engineering

Mandatory Telco domain experience (BSS/OSS, customer lifecycle, billing, provisioning, service management)

Strong hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform (Apex, Lightning, configuration, customization)

Proven experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud or Salesforce-based communication solutions

Hands-on experience with cloud communication platforms (Twilio, Amazon Connect, Vonage, WhatsApp Business, SMS gateways, etc.)

Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs (REST/SOAP), event-driven and asynchronous communication

Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Salesforce deployment tools

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Communications Cloud, Integration Architecture)

Experience working on omnichannel customer engagement platforms in Telco

Exposure to microservices and event-driven architectures
