Job Description
Salesforce Agentforce Developer specializing in AI agents within the Salesforce ecosystem
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Salesforce foundations and Agentforce, Data Cloud, Einstein Trust Layer, building intelligent conversational AI agents, configuring agent topics and defining actions using Apex and Flow, and integrating AI driven solutions with Salesforce platforms. These resources will play a key role in designing and implementing AI powered automation to support complex business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop integrate and maintain Agentforce standard and custom agents using Agent Builder to meet business requirements and user personas
Create and manage agent topics and actions using Apex classes Salesforce Flows and MuleSoft APIs to enable multi step task execution
Utilize Data Cloud to provide agents with real time grounded context to ensure high accuracy in AI generated responses
Implement and monitor Einstein Trust Layer to ensure data privacy toxicity filtering and secure handling of sensitive information
Use Agent Debugger to trace reasoning paths refine instructions and optimize the reasoning engine for better decision making
Work closely with Salesforce admins and functional consultants to identify automation opportunities and improve user experience across Service Sales and Marketing Clouds
Develop and refine system instructions and prompt templates to guide agent behavior and tone
Track agent performance and adoption metrics and continuously improve based on interaction logs and feedback
Required Skills And Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Salesforce platform including Flow Builder Apex and Lightning Web Components
Expertise in Salesforce Prompt Builder to create test and refine prompt templates that securely use CRM data
Hands on experience with Agentforce
Solid understanding of Data Cloud including data ingestion data modeling and calculated insights to support retrieval augmented generation workflows
Experience integrating external systems using MuleSoft or REST APIs
Experience with Agentforce analytics dashboards and reporting to monitor agent performance
Ability to convert complex business logic into structured instructions for AI execution
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer or AI related certifications are preferred
Strong ability to explain technical AI concepts in clear business terms to stakeholders
