Role Overview
As a Sales Team Manager at Unispace, you will lead and manage the complete sales lifecycle, ensuring robust pipeline governance, consistent team performance, and adherence to high-quality sales standards. The role focuses on driving higher conversion rates through disciplined lead management, well-defined sales processes, and continuous team development. By coaching the sales team, reviewing sales interactions, monitoring daily execution, and optimizing CRM-driven workflows, the Sales Team Manager ensures revenue targets are achieved with efficiency, structure, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations and Management
- Review and analyse sales calls and client interactions to identify improvement opportunities, strengthen communication quality, and enhance closing strategies.
- Own end-to-end lead and opportunity management, ensuring smooth funnel progression, timely follow-ups, and minimal lead leakage.
- Drive effective CRM usage to maintain data accuracy, improve pipeline visibility, and optimize sales workflows.
- Lead daily and weekly sales reviews to assess performance, resolve blockers, align priorities, and reinforce target focus.
Performance and Target Management
- Set clear, achievable, and ambitious sales targets aligned with Unispace's revenue goals and market strategy.
- Define and monitor KPIs to measure individual and team performance across the full sales cycle.
- Track weekly and monthly performance trends, proactively identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans to improve results.
Team Leadership, Training & Development
- Coach and mentor sales team members to strengthen product understanding, client conversations, objection handling, and deal closure.
- Develop and roll out sales SOPs, playbooks, and training modules to ensure process consistency and scalable execution.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions to support professional growth and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage teams and priorities independently.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, and experience working with CRM platforms.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership teams.
