Role Overview

The EdTech Sales Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of academiccounsellors / inside sales executives, driving enrolments for EdTech programs, andensuring consistent revenue growth. This role demands strong people leadership, deepunderstanding of consultative selling, and the ability to convert student leads intoenrolments through structured sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance

Lead, coach, and manage a team of EdTech sales counsellors

Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for enrolments and revenue

Monitor individual performance and provide continuous feedback and training

Conduct regular reviews, role plays, and call audits to improve conversions

Sales & Revenue Ownership

Own overall team revenue, conversion ratios, and enrolment numbers

Drive closures for high-ticket courses, certifications, and programs

Support the team in handling objections related to pricing, outcomes, and career

value

Step in for escalations and high-intent prospects when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in EdTech sales / inside sales / academic counseling

Minimum 1 year of experience leading or mentoring a sales team

Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enrolment targets

Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales dashboards
