Job Description

Role Overview

We are hiring a Team Lead Inside Sales to manage and drive performance of a frontline inside sales team handling inbound leads and revenue conversion.

This is a strong execution + people leadership role for someone who has led inside sales teams in B2C/D2C environments, understands numbers deeply, and can consistently deliver revenue through disciplined follow-ups, coaching, and CRM-driven execution.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Team Performance

● Own daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets for the assigned team

● Drive conversion %, closure rates, and AOV through active monitoring and coaching

● Ensure team meets productivity, utilization, and SLA benchmarks

● Identify and plug revenue leakage, opportunity loss, and productivity gaps

Inside Sales & Call Center Execution

● Manage a team of Inside Sales Executives (ICs)

● Monitor calls, follow-ups, and pipeline movement, and disposition quality

● Ensure strict adherence to sales processes, scripts, and call quality standards

● Actively track and reduce missed follow-ups, shrinkage, and idle time

● Own execution discipline on rosters, schedules, and daily sales hygiene

CRM & Funnel Discipline

● Ensure 100% usage of CRM systems (Zoho / Salesforce / Freshdesk or similar)

● Maintain clean pipelines, accurate statuses, and timely updates

● Track KPIs such as lead response time (FRT), conversions, AOV, and agent productivity

● Drive RCA for funnel drop-offs, FRT misses, and conversion dips

Coaching, Performance & Team Health

● Conduct regular call audits, feedback sessions, and performance reviews

● Coach teams on objection handling, consultative selling, upselling, and closures

● Own new joiner ramp-up, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and skill uplift

● Proactively manage attrition, morale, and team stability

Cross-Functional Coordination

● Coordinate with Marketing on lead quality feedback

● Work closely with Sales Manager on targets, escalations, and improvements

● Partner with QA / Training teams to improve overall sales effectiveness

What we are Looking For

● 5+ years of experience in Inside Sales / Telesales (B2C or D2C)

● 4 years of people management experience (leading ICs)

● Experience in high-ticket or consultative sales (edtech, fintech, insurance, luxury, BPO, wellness, etc.)

● Strong understanding of CRM-driven sales funnels

● Proven ability to consistently hit team targets

● Hands-on experience with inbound sales, follow-ups, and consultative selling

● Strong coaching, communication, and performance management skills

Nice to Have

● Experience in luxury retail, gems/jewellery, or premium international D2C brands

● Exposure to global customers (GCC, US, SEA markets)

● Experience managing teams across time zones or international markets
