Sales Team Lead

The Role

We're looking for a results-driven Sales Team Lead to manage and inspire a team of 5-10 Business Development Executives. You'll be responsible for driving team performance, achieving sales targets, and developing your team members into high performers.

What You'll Do
Lead & Manage
  • Lead a team of 5-10 BDEs/BDOs to achieve monthly sales targets
  • Conduct daily team meetings and set clear priorities
  • Monitor real-time performance and provide immediate support
  • Build a high-performance, motivated team culture

Drive Performance
  • Set and track daily/weekly/monthly targets for each team member
  • Ensure minimum call duration and lead contact compliance
  • Review calls and provide coaching for improvement
  • Manage underperformance through structured improvement plans

Optimize Operations
  • Allocate leads strategically based on team member capability
  • Ensure pricing discipline and SOP compliance
  • Coordinate with Marketing for quality leads and campaign alignment
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation

Develop Your Team
  • Conduct regular training on products, sales skills, and objection handling
  • Provide one-on-one coaching sessions
  • Review new employee performance (7/30/60/90 day evaluations)
  • Create individual development plans

Handle Escalations
  • Resolve customer complaints and refund requests professionally
  • Act as first point of escalation for team issues
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Technical, HR)

Report & Communicate
  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly performance reports to Sales Manager
  • Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning
  • Maintain transparent communication with management

What We're Looking For
Must Have

* 4-5 years in sales/business development (BDE/BDO experience preferred)

* Proven track record of consistently achieving/exceeding targets (90%+)

* Leadership potential or 2-3 years team lead/supervisory experience

* Strong communication and people management skills

* Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Excel

* Bachelor's degree in any field

# Experience in EdTech, education, coaching, or training industry

# Previous experience mentoring or training team members

# MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management

# Remote team management experience
