Job Description

Job Title: Sales -Team Lead Blitz Academy

Location: Kochi/Calicut

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Preference: This position is open only to candidates from Kerala.

About the Role

Blitz Academy is looking for a dynamic and target-driven Sales Team Lead to manage and guide our team of Admission Counsellors. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a sales-driven mindset, and experience in achieving admissions/enrollment targets within the education or EdTech sector.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Admission Counsellors to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and ensure consistent improvement.
  • Conduct daily team huddles, performance reviews, and goal-setting sessions.
  • Support counsellors in handling tough leads and improving conversion ratios.

Sales & Admission Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end student admissions, from lead generation to conversion.
  • Ensure counsellors maintain high-quality communication and follow their leads regularly.
  • Review counsellors calls, CRM entries, and follow-up processes to maintain standards.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to optimize lead flow and quality.

Target Achievement

  • Create and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly admissions numbers and provide reports to management.
  • Identify challenges in conversions and implement action plans for improvement.

Coordination & Process Management

  • Coordinate with academic, operations, and marketing teams for smooth student onboarding.
  • Ensure counsellors provide accurate information regarding courses, fees, schedules, and career outcomes.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and ensure all leads are updated regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • 46 years of experience in sales, academic counseling, or EdTech admissions.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading a sales or counselling team.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of CRM systems and counselling techniques
