Role Description The Sales Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for driving student enrollment and revenue growth for Blitz Academy's training programs. The person in this role will lead and motivate a sales team, set daily and weekly targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching to improve conversion rates. Daily responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound inquiries, guiding prospective learners through course options, conducting follow-ups, and ensuring an excellent experience throughout the admissions process. The Sales Team Lead will coordinate closely with academic and operations teams to align sales efforts with course offerings, placement support, and marketing campaigns. The role also involves preparing sales reports, analyzing trends, recommending improvement strategies, and representing the institution professionally at events or outreach activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Customer Service skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in an education or service-oriented environment.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management capabilities, including motivating team members, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and local languages as applicable.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for process and performance improvement.
- Relevant experience in student counseling, educational sales, or training services is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, manage deadlines, and maintain a learner-focused, ethical approach to sales is required.
