Role Overview
The Sales Support Engineer acts as a technical bridge between Sales, Product, and Customers. The role supports the sales team during pre-sales and post-sales by providing technical assistance, product demonstrations, solution explanations, and implementation support to ensure smooth deal closures and customer onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide technical support to the sales team during pre-sales and post-sales activities.
2. Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
3. Conduct product demonstrations, walkthroughs, and technical presentations.
4. Assist sales teams with RFQs, RFPs, proposals, and technical documentation.
5. Support system configurations, integrations, and basic implementations when required.
6. Act as a technical point of contact for customer queries during sales cycles.
7. Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
8. Maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and solution guides.
9. Support customer onboarding and training sessions.
10. Update CRM and internal systems with technical notes and customer requirements.
11. Identify recurring technical issues and provide feedback to improve product usability.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 35 years of experience in Sales Support, Pre-Sales, or Technical Support roles.
3. Experience in SaaS / PropTech / Real Estate technology is preferred.
4. Strong understanding of software products, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based systems.
5. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales workflows.
6. UAE experience is preferred.
