We are looking for a Sales Support Associate to support our sales team in preparing RFP/RFQ responses, proposals, and commercial documentation for enterprise clients, especially in the utilities domain. You will coordinate with product, engineering, finance, and legal teams to create accurate, compliant, and customer-focused proposals. This role offers exposure to B2B SaaS enterprise sales and the chance to contribute to WorkOnGrid's mission of digitally transforming operational intelligence for utilities and asset-intensive industries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical, commercial, and solution proposals for enterprise clients, especially in utilities.
- Manage responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and other bid documentation.
- Coordinate with a cross-functional team to gather necessary inputs.
- Translate WorkOnGrid's SaaS capabilities (workflow automation, analytics, and field operations management) into clear, client-friendly proposals.
- Ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, complete, and submitted on time.
- Maintain and update proposal templates, pricing decks, case studies, and standard content.
- Review proposals for formatting, consistency, quality, and adherence to branding guidelines.
- Track proposal timelines, submissions, approvals, and follow-ups with the sales team.
- Support pricing coordination, commercial documentation, and subscription-related details.
- Maintain a centralised repository of proposals, contracts, and sales collateral.
- Assist in post-submission activities such as clarifications, presentations, and revisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes and turnaround time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, marketing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales support, proposal management, or bid coordination in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Experience with enterprise clients, preferably in utilities, energy, or infrastructure.
- Understanding of SaaS sales cycles, subscription models, and enterprise procurement processes.
- Knowledge of CRM tools like Pipedrive, HubSpot, or similar would be a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot).
- Strong organisational skills, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
